【課題】駆動モードを切り換えた場合でも、ノイズ測定信号を取得する好適な動作を行う固体撮像装置を提供することを課題とする。 【解決手段】入射光を電荷に変換する光電変換部を含む有効画素が行列配置された有効画素部と、光電変換部を含まない非有効画素部が少なくとも1行配置された非有効画素部と、前記非有効画素部の画素を行毎に選択する非有効画素行選択部と、を有し、2以上の駆動モードを備え、前記有効画素部に基づく画像信号及び前記非有効画素部に基づくノイズ測定信号を出力する固体撮像装置において、前記非有効画素行選択部は、前記駆動モードが変更された直後から前記画像信号が出力されるまでの期間に前記非有効画素部の画素を選択して前記ノイズ測定信号を出力させる。 【選択図】図3
<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device which performs a good operation for acquiring a noise measuring signal even when a driving mode is switched. <P>SOLUTION: In the solid-state imaging device which has a valid pixel part where valid pixels including a photoelectric converter for converting incident light into charge are matrix-arranged, an invalid pixel part where at least one row of invalid pixel part including no photoelectric converter is arranged, and an invalid pixel row selecting part to select a pixel of the invalid pixel part in units of rows, includes two or more driving modes, and outputs an image signal based on the valid pixel part and the noise measuring signal based on the invalid pixel part, the invalid pixel row selecting part selects the pixel of the invalid pixel part until the image signal is output just after the driving mode is changed, and outputs the noise measuring signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
