Biodegradable resin crosslinked foam and its manufacturing method

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin crosslinked foam which has a good surfacial state and uniform cells inside and exhibits excellent mechanical properties irrespective of the thickness of a material to be irradiated. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin crosslinked foam is obtained using a biodegradable resin having a molecular weight distribution of 1.5-3.0, and a thermodecomposable blowing agent and an auxiliary crosslinking agent bearing at least three functional groups in the molecule. The manufacturing method of the biodegradable resin crosslinked foam comprises forming an expandable sheet using the mixture of the above three components, irradiating the expandable sheet with an ionizing radiation thereby causing the biodegradable resin to crosslink, and heating the sheet to cause it to expand, where the added amount A of the auxiliary crosslinking agent, in terms of pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of the biodegradable resin, and the irradiation dose B (kGy) of the ionizing radiation satisfy the relationship: 100≤A×B≤400, 0.5≤A≤6 and 20≤B≤200. 【課題】被照射物の厚みによらず、良好な表面状態を有し、発泡体内部の気泡が均一であり、優れた機械的特性を有する生分解性樹脂架橋発泡体を提供すること。 【解決手段】分子量分布が1.5〜3.0である生分解性樹脂と、熱分解型発泡体と、分子中に少なくとも3つの官能基を有する架橋助剤を用いてなる生分解性樹脂架橋発泡体である。さらには、前記三者の混合物を用いて発泡性シートを成形せしめた後、該発泡性シートに電離性放射線を照射し、該生分解性樹脂を架橋せしめ、加熱して発泡を行なうことに際し、生分解性樹脂100重量部に対する架橋助剤の添加部数Aと電離性放射線の照射線量B(kGy)とが100≦A×B≦400、0.5≦A≦6、20≦B≦200を同時に満足することを特徴とする生分解性樹脂架橋発泡体の製造方法。 【選択図】なし
