Sealing structure with built-in coder

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce axial dimensions to improve sealability between a rotating member and a fixed member and allow easy mounting. SOLUTION: A cylinder part 3 is fitted into a shaft 1. A coder 4 made from an elastomer mixed with magnetic particles is mounted on a rotating disk 2 which is integral with the cylinder part 3. A cylinder part 7 is fitted into the fixed member 6. A sealing member 10 is mounted on a fixed disk 8 which is integral with the cylinder part 7. The sealing member 10 is provided with an axial tongue piece 11a which abuts on the free surface of the rotating disk 2 and a radial tongue piece 11b which abuts on the outer side face of the cylinder part 3. An annular member 12 is provided at an end of the sealing member 10. The coder 4 is provided with a tongue piece 13 which abuts on the shaft 1. 【課題】 軸方向の寸法を小さくし、回転部材と固定部材との間の密閉度を良好にし、容易に取り付け可能にする。 【解決手段】 シャフト1に円筒部3を嵌め、円筒部3と一体の回転ディスク2に磁性粒子を添加したエラストマからなるコーダ4を取り付け、固定部材6に円筒部7を嵌め、円筒部7と一体の固定ディスク8に密閉部材10を取り付け、密閉部材10に回転ディスク2の自由面に当接している軸方向の唇状片11aおよび円筒部3の外側面に当接している半径方向の唇状片11bを設け、密閉部材10の端部に環状部材12を設け、コーダ4にシャフト1に当接している唇状片13を設け、コーダ4の外側の側面と固定部材6の側面61の平面Pとをほぼ同一平面とする。 【選択図】 図1
